Transportation
While the Night Bazaar and the riverfront can be explored on foot or by bicycle, we recommend tuk-tuks and taxis for getting around Chiang Mai. Some taxis have meters installed on their dashboards, but all will prefer to negotiate. Expect the same ‘flexible’ pricing with tuk-tuk drivers, too. The Chedi Chiang Mai’s Concierge team will happily arrange a taxi or tuk-tuk from the hotel for you at any time and advise you on the going rates.

Weather
We like the not too toasty hot days and cool nights from November to April and also recommend May to July and the month of October when it may get quite warm, but some rain showers cool. Monsoon rains fall almost every day during August and September.
